Poll: Are you shopping in-store Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving?

Published: 2012-11-19 14:49:19
Updated: 2012-11-19 14:49:19

I need your help with my Wednesday noon news Black Friday segment! Will you be shopping the in-store early Black Friday sales starting at 8:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day? As you probably know, many stores have moved their Black Friday sales to Thanksgiving Day, starting as early as 8:00 pm.

Please leave a YES or NO answer as to whether you are shopping in the stores on the evening of Thanksgiving Day (not on-line, only in the actual stores).  If your answer is YES, feel free to let us know which store you are heading to first.

Thanks for your help!

yes

no- I can find those same or better deals online without the bestial behavior of a crowd trying to save 2 dollars on a pack of gum

Yes, but only because I do not want my mom going out by herself. She is planning on Walmart and Target.

No!!! Thanksgiving should be about family! People that work in retail should be able to relax the whole entire day and not worry about having to rush to get to work on Thanksgiving! If a person has to work on Thanksgiving they should get triple time...even law enforcement!

No. I am going to relax after dinner.

No. I choose not to contribute to the chaos.

NO

No. Plan to spend time with family. I will be peeling potatoes, onions, carrots..... for a stew that starts early Friday morning for my family with some of the Thanksgiving leftovers. Come join us in Roxboro for the stew cooking.

Maybe. I have not decided yet. I like to get the newspaper with all the ads and look through them all and then decide if there is something I really want enough to go out in the crowds of shoppers.

No. Thanksgiving is family time.

Yes, but only one store! Meet you at CVS on Thursday Faye!

NO

NO, There is nothing I want that bad!!!!

No (& Yes) Not shopping on Thanksgiving day (poor retail workers need at least a day off) but I do meet my friends at the outlets in Smithfield at Midnight on Friday Morning. I don't usually do much shopping but use it as a get together w/ friends I don't get to see often.
