— Raleigh police were investigating two armed robberies that happened about 5 miles apart in northwest Raleigh.

We just got back from the beach and I noticed at least two different places down east on I-40 today where they had prisoners picking up trash on the road. Do we still do that around here? If not, we should.

We really do need to build many more prisons. And anyone who drops out of high school should be supervised by social services until they implement a plan to become productive citizens.

the changing of drug laws will facilitate that. ya see they let the really bad ones out early to make room for the guys who caught a mandatory minimum selling doobies

I remember when Brier Creek was a nice area, it's sketchy out there after dark now.

I wonder if it was the same criminals who were looking over the Avent Ferry Food Lion on Friday night. Police were called when I was there.

I think a law should be enacted where if a crime is committed by a person with priors, all those connected with his early release then follow him to jail, judges included.

There is too much crime in this area, and it is being committed by career criminals.

To those who say our jails are too crowded, hogwash!
