Who cares if 40oz beers and candy get's stolen? The clerk stays safe and the money stays there. No clerk is going to fight a shoplifter anyway. I bet the lady at the Wilco on New Bern would have appreciate a thick glass barrier, but instead her boyfriend found her murdered. She was doing an honest job and the clerks deserve to be safe at work. Common sense here folks. I know it's a rare thing these days, but a little goes a long way.

thatsgreat/ "Put them all behind glass" That will probably keep them from getting the cash but everything else, in the store, will be stolen while the clerk watches. Not like a bank where everything of value is behind the counter.

Wow, that's a hard one. It looks like so many other photos I've seen in the past.

    Another role model...

I agree on both counts. I am sure the convenient store industry has a reason they think is valaid for no protecting clerks. Maybe his family will do the right thing before someone gets hurt?

Maybe his family will turn him in too. There is no need for convenient stores to have the clerks so vulnerable these days. Put them all behind glass and be done with it. These robberies would completely stop.
