— Durham police were searching for several people early Friday who authorities say were involved in a shooting and wreck at an apartment complex on Dearborn Drive.

According to investigators, groups of people in two cars exchanged gunfire at about 11:15 p.m. in the parking lot of Oxford Manor apartments.

One bullet went through an apartment window during the shooting, and another hit a car in the parking lot, but no injuries were reported.

After the shooting, the cars took off, and one of the vehicles – a black Ford Mustang – crashed into another car near the intersection of Dearborn Drive and Old Oxford Road.

The driver of the third vehicle, which was not involved in the shooting, suffered minor injuries, police said.

Following the wreck, three or four people inside the Mustang fled the area on foot.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the incident should call Durham police.

Based on the WRAL article titled “Durham city leaders receive report claiming police racial bias”. I wonder if the police officers “clearly communicated to the citizens the purpose of their interactions” that night. You really have to love these review boards by individuals that’s never put the uniform on. This is like having someone doing a review board on a surgeon that has no medical experience. You need to read the other article to get the full picture of my comment.

Yes, please don't point out the truth, Liberals hate that. Durham, Detriot, Chicago, they are all huge liberal success stories. These are the utopias that they want for all of us.

I don't know how you can consider freedomrings own experience as "hating much" or does the truth hurt much?

Not all the DHA communities are like that. I managed a few that housed the elderly and we never had a problem. The residents were incredibly kind, brought water to the laborers, etc. But most of the DHA communities were bad. McDougald Terrace was another one as the Cornwallis Rd community. There was a drive-by in that one and when I handed sketches to my employees of the suspected shooter, a message was sent to me that I better keep my nose out of it. We also had a problem with one employee being followed and someone tried to break in my truck. They pay was fairly good for the contract, but one laborer didn't care about the raise, he was scared and asked to me moved ton another crew.

This is exactly how these people destroy neighborhoods and will eventually destroy this once proud nation.

Agreed that's a bad apartment complex. Bragg Town would be a much better place if it wasn't for that awful complex.

I feel sorry for all the good people in Durham who have to put up with too much nonsense and violence like this.
