Police seek suspect in Fayetteville home break-in
Fayetteville police are seeking the public's help in locating a man who is responsible for a break-in that occurred last month.

Police said that a man kicked in the back door of a home at 1206 Longleaf Drive on Oct. 1 at about 9:50 p.m. while a resident was home. He took a purse from the home and fled on foot, said police.
Detectives identified the man as Robert Christopher Elliott, 48, of the 460 block of McRae Drive. He is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 230 pounds with white hair and grey eyes. Authorities said that he may be driving a silver 2007 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab truck with North Carolina license plate CHA 5496.
Police have warrants for Elliott’s arrest on charges of first-degree burglary, larceny, and possession of stolen goods. He also has an outstanding warrant for violating a domestic violence protection order.
