Arrest made in Fayetteville homicide

A 30-year-old Fayetteville man was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Angela Taylor.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 30-year-old Fayetteville man was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Angela Taylor.

Taylor, 32, was shot at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday while she was walking near the intersection of Andy and Ike streets. She was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she died.

Christopher David Lee, of the 5300 block of Thacker Court, was charged with first-degree murder and was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
