Police seek fourth suspect in Greenville shooting

GREENVILLE, N.C. — Authorities are looking for a fourth suspect in connection with a shooting this past weekend outside of a nightclub at 1311 West 5th St.

At about 3 a.m. officers responded to a shooting near the intersection of West 5th and Hudson streets. Jeffery Moore, 22, of Bethel, and Michael Mitchell, 23, of Greenville, were both transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Police are trying to locate Quintin Lamar Freeman, 17, of 2060 Old River Road in Greenville. Freeman is considered a suspect in the case and police have obtained warrants charging him with attempted murder and assault inflicting serious injury.

Officers have arrested three other suspects in connection with the shooting. Each has been charged with attempted murder and assault inflicting serious injury. All are being held at the Pitt County Detention Center.

Troy Lee “Big Country” Richardson, 32, of 1608 West Arlington, Apartment 13, in Greenville, is being held under a $500,000 bond.

Jeremy Dywane “JD” Richardson, 23, also of 1608 W. Arlington, Apartment 13, in Greenville, is being held under a $300,000 bond.

Terence Antoine Staton, 21, of 305 Contentnea St. in Greenville is being held under a $300,000 bond.
