Police Seek Dunkin' Donuts Robber

— Police are trying to identify a man caught on surveillance cameras robbing a Dunkin' Donuts store at gunpoint.

The man used a handgun to rob the store at 6613 Falls of Neuse Road around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 11. Police said he fled on foot after getting money from employees.

The robber was a black man in 20s, with a medium to dark complexion. He stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed between 215 and 230 pounds. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or who has other information about the robbery was asked to call the Raleigh police detectives at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.

    We frequent that shopping center. This same suspect has hit the Raleighwood, Dunkin Donuts, and the UPS Store near Winstons on Falls of Neuse. Keep your eyes peeled, he frequents those areas on foot, as they suspect he is homeless.
