Police seek 68-year-old missing Raleigh man

Raleigh police are asking for the public's help in finding a local man who's been missing for more than a week.

Williams J. Yates, 68, is black, stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and was last seen in the 400 block of Top Greene Lane in Raleigh on the night of Jan. 27.

He was wearing a black hooded shirt and brown trousers, police said.

Authorities say they don't believe foul play is involved in Yates' disappearance.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department at 919-834-4357.

    Hopefully he is somewhere where he has been safe and warm. It's been really, really cold and wet since Jan 27....
