Police searching for two suspects in connection with Fayetteville armed robbery
Authorities responded to a report of an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver at the 7000 block of Ainsley Street around 3 p.m. on Thursday in Fayetteville.
Posted — UpdatedTwo men robbed the delivery driver at gun point when he arrived at the home to make the delivery, officials said. The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle, a 2004 Saturn Ion.
One suspect is described as a 6-foot black male weighing about 200 pounds. Authorities said he has short hair and was seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
The second suspect is described as a black male between 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-8 tall and about 180 pounds with a blonde afro. Officials said the suspect was seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing. No additional information has been released.
