Police searching for Durham man charged with child abuse

Durham police are searching for a man accused of causing life-threatening injuries to his infant son.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are searching for a man accused of causing life-threatening injuries to his infant son.

Jesse Antwon Lane, 24, and his girlfriend, Aamber Wunique Swann, 23, both of Windlestraw Drive, were each charged with felony child abuse causing serious bodily injury and felony child neglect/abuse causing serious physical injury after their 3-month-old boy was taken to a hospital last week.

Swann was arrested Friday and held under a $750,000 bond. Lane is not in custody.

The baby remained hospitalized Monday.
