Everyone assumes that the family is the one that reported him missing. It doesnt say that anywhere in the article or in the police report. It could have been another homeless person (they often work in pairs) that reported him missing, or a shelter that sees him regularly...

I think he's working again, on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. You know, Mack 'n' cheese.

I bet you there will be some interesting twist in this story. Missing 4 yrs and they just now say something? Living in a homeless camp when he has a family----although they did not care to report him mising for 4 yrs.... Something a bit fishy here!
    OMGReally

Maybe he's the one that wanted to live in a homeless camp, maybe he's an alcoholic or drug addict that choses to live like he does! Don't be so quick to blame the family.

I hope that he is found ok. These comments are crazy. I have known a person who was a rambler. A roamer of the streets. A shelter sleeper. He had some addiction issues. He had family, and they would open their homes for him. But he would stay a few weeks, leave & come back a year or two or three later with stories of where he had been. Chicago, New York, Florida, Utah. This was his way of life, and the norm for this family for well over 25 years. Anyway, When their mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, the sisters had no idea how to begain to look for him. But the mother on her death bed, wanted to see her "baby boy" one more time. Ironicly, he strolled back into town 3 DAYS after his mother was burried. He said that for weeks, he knew that he had to get home, but he didnt know why. He got there a little too late. He said that he had been in Salt Lake City working... Stories like this are not that un-common. I wish the family luck in finding their loved one.

This sounds like he may have a mental issue, poor guy. The family must need to declare him missing, etc, for life insurance, divorce or some other purpose like that.

Please ignore the previous comments. Apparently the world is full clueless people who don't want to recognize mental illness.

Sometimes people drop out of their families and live on the streets...even if the families don't want them to. Shocking, huh?!!

If he's been missing for 2 years, why are they just now starting to look for him?
