Police search for 3 in home invasion; lockdown lifted at Athens Drive High
Officers with the Raleigh Police Department were investigating a home invasion Wednesday afternoon in the 4300 block of Fathom Court.

Authorities responded to the call at 12:19 p.m. The homeowner was home at the time and was assaulted by the intruders, police said.
The homeowner was taken to WakeMed, where he was listed in stable condition.
Raleigh police officers, along with a K-9 unit, were searching for three people.
During the search, nearby Athens Drive High School was under lockdown as a precaution. A code red lockdown lasted about eight minutes, and a community lockdown was in effect for about an hour.
