Police search car in shooting investigation

Christopher Ryan Davis, 19, of Clayton, was found May 12 face-down in front of a parked car near the Battle Ridge at Chastain community, on Guard Hill Drive off Barwell Road.
Police lifted fingerprints and a shoe print from inside the car, which is registered to Theresa Whitley Ellis, of 116 Government Road in Clayton.
The search warrant did not indicate what connection, other than proximity, the car might have to Davis’s death.
Three men are charged with murder in the crime. Eric Jarelle Rhome, 21, Patrick Javonne Green, 18, and Tyler DeJohn Montague, 20, were arrested May 22.
Police didn't release any information about a motive or any connection between Davis and the accused killers.
