24-year-old man charged in connection with shots fired at Crabtree Valley Mall
A man was charged Monday following an incident in the parking lot of Crabtree Valley Mall during which at least one shot was fired, according to mall spokesman Brian Asbill.
Posted — UpdatedDamien Dayquann Lyons, 24, of 6733 Magnolia Court in Raleigh, was charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or vehicle, going armed to the terror of the people and injury to personal property.
Authorities did not release a motive behind the shooting, but said no injuries were reported.
Asbill said a portion of the parking lot near the Barnes and Noble and Best Buy stores was roped off while Raleigh police investigated, but the mall remained open.
