Police rescue animals from home after lawn mower starts a fire
Firefighters say a hot lawnmower started a fire Tuesday night at a home in west Omaha.

OMAHA, NE — Firefighters say a hot lawnmower started a fire Tuesday night at a home in west Omaha.
Officials say the fire started under the deck of a home at south 157th Street. Firefighters say flames spread to the outside of the home, but no one was hurt.
Omaha police tweeted photos of officers rescuing animals that were inside the home. Investigators say there is about $10,000 in damage.
