Police: Raleigh man embezzled from Dairy Queen

A 22-year-old Raleigh man was charged with embezzlement Saturday after police say he stole $1,000 from the ice cream store where he worked.

CARY, N.C. — A 22-year-old Raleigh man was charged with embezzlement Saturday after police say he stole $1,000 from the ice cream store where he worked.

According to arrest warrants, Angel Adrian Juarez-Rangal, of 513 Tartan Circle, stole the money from Dairy Queen, 1105 Walnut St. in Cary, where he worked as a clerk.

He was taken to the Wake County jail and placed on an immigration detainer to determine whether he is in the country illegally. His bond was set at $3,000.
