Zebulon police are asking for the public's help in its investigation of a shooting into a police vehicle.

The shooting happened late Wednesday evening on West Horton Street while the officer was on patrol, authorities said.
There were no reports of injuries, and police released no other information about the shooting.

A cash reward is being offered for information leading to a conviction, police said.
