Police probe shooting at Durham convenience store

— Police were investigating a shooting late Monday afternoon at a Durham convenience store.

A store manager said a gunman opened the door at Buy Quick Food Marts, 103 W. Cornwallis Road, and started shooting at a customer inside.

The customer was shot in the leg and taken to Duke Hospital for treatment, police said. The injury did not appear to be life-threatening.

    Crime is everyone. Durham hasn't been in the news as it relates to crime/shooting like it was in the past. This year is more like Rocky Mount.
