— Raleigh detectives and officers passed out fliers and solicited information Tuesday evening from motorists at the intersection of Haywood and Cabarrus streets about a recent slaying.

Officers found Rodriquez D'Shay Burrell, 18, who had been shot several times, late Monday at a house at 500 Haywood St. Emergency crews took him to WakeMed, where he died shortly thereafter, police said.

Anyone with information that might aid detectives is asked to call the department’s Detective Division at 919-996-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME. Callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous and the organization pays cash rewards for tips that help solve cases.

Yes, Yes, yes. Once again, according to our "leaders" (Danny Coleman and Bruce Lightner), we will have another "march"; another "rally" and then go home to wait for the next murder and/or home invasion (who is safe in their homes anymore?) Can you spell "terrorism"? It "too" starts at HOME ! While our LEADERS can't be expected (though they'll never admit it--too much ego) to have ALL or even most of the answers--the problem is they have no "ear" for listening to or considering the ideas of others. Thus, the problems just continues to get worst as we continue to "march", "rally" and "meet".
