A missing Kinston teen was found safe Monday night. 

<b>KINSTON, N.C.</b> — A missing Kinston teen was found safe Monday night.

Ashane Lashawn Jenkins, 15, was located as a result of a tip received due to media coverage, officials said.

Joseph Dean Ringo, 47, of 1415 Ekstine Drive, Portsmouth, Virginia was taken into custody and charged with felony child abduction.

No additional information was immediately available.

According to authorities, the Sampson County E-911 Center was notified of four gunshot victims around 1:39 p.m. at the Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Authorities said the four victims, all men, took themselves to the hospital.
