A man was shot early Tuesday in Morrisville.

<b>MORRISVILLE, N.C.</b> — A man was shot early Sunday in Morrisville.

Just after midnight, officers with the Morrisville Police Department responded to a shooting at a home at 201 Sutter Gate Lane near Davis Drive and Louis Stephens Road.

Police say Steven McRae, 47, of Durham, was transported to the hospital where he underwent surgery. He is listed in stable condition. The extent of his injuries have not been released.

Police have not identified any suspects at this time. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call the Morrisville Police Department at 919-463-1600.
