RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are searching for a man who reportedly touched a 14-year-old girl inappropriately Tuesday morning.

Authorities said the girl was waiting at a school bus stop on Brockton Drive at about 6 a.m. when she was approached by a man who made lewd remarks and touched her inappropriately.

The girl was not injured and reported the incident when she arrived at school.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man in his 30s or 40s with a short beard and possibly a moustache. He has small eyes and a chip in an upper left front tooth, police said.

The man was last seen walking north on Hoyle Drive and was wearing a black hoodie with black or blue baggy pants, authorities said.

One woman who has lived in the area for eight years said she always sees children waiting for the bus, but has never heard of anything like this happening.

Anybody with information is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
