Police: Man fatally shot by 'multiple suspects' inside Fayetteville home

One man died Sunday morning after he was shot by multiple suspects at a Fayetteville home.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One man died Sunday morning after he was shot by multiple suspects inside a Fayetteville home.

Around 5:30 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a shooting at a home along the 5000 block of Blayne Drive.

Inside the home, they found 42-year-old Karlos Bembury with gunshot wounds. A woman beside him was unharmed, but officials said Bembury was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, multiple suspects broke into the home and shot Bembury before fleeing the scene. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
