Police are investigating the death of a Greenville business owner whose body was found outside his office.

Multiple media outlets reported that 59-year-old Walter Clay Malloy was found dead Saturday morning. Investigators would not say how Malloy died. His body was found inside a fenced area behind Clay’s Wrecker Service at 2016 Chestnut St.
Malloy’s son, Clay Jr., told WCTI-TV in New Bern that his father was a helpful man who cared about his customers.
WCTI reported that the business had not been broken into or robbed.
