Police investigate shootings, crash in Raleigh, Sanford

— Authorities were investigating two shootings and a car crash in Raleigh and Sanford Wednesday night.

Sanford police were investigating a shooting at U.S. Highway 1 and Spring Lane in Sanford. Nearby, on Horner Boulevard, a police officer was involved in a car crash.

There were injuries in that wreck, but authorities did not release details.

In Raleigh, a person was shot in the leg on Grandover Drive, police said. The shooter is sought. 

The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

    Several shootings reported today, none in Durham. I wonder if the pinheads will be on here saying, "Gee, Durham's really no worse than any other scum-riddled NC city."? I'm not holding my breath.
