Police investigate shootings, crash in Raleigh, Sanford
Authorities were investigating two shootings and a car crash in Raleigh and Sanford Wednesday night.
Posted — UpdatedSANFORD, N.C. — Authorities were investigating two shootings and a car crash in Raleigh and Sanford Wednesday night.
Sanford police were investigating a shooting at U.S. Highway 1 and Spring Lane in Sanford. Nearby, on Horner Boulevard, a police officer was involved in a car crash.
There were injuries in that wreck, but authorities did not release details.
In Raleigh, a person was shot in the leg on Grandover Drive, police said. The shooter is sought.
The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
