Police investigate fight in apartment complex

Durham police were investigating a fight early Sunday in the parking lot of Charlestown Apartments that investigators believe might be gang related.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police were investigating a fight early Sunday in the parking lot of Charlestown Apartments that investigators believe might be gang related.

Police said that a fight broke out among a group of men from Henderson around 6:45 a.m. in the apartment complex off Ross Road. Gunshots were fired, but no one was hit by bullets.

Three men, ranging from in age 17 to 23, were injured by blunt objects, police said. Their injuries were non-life-threatening, and they were treated at a local hospital.

Police have not made any arrests.
