Police investigate Chapel Hill shooting; 1 injured

Chapel Hill, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting at a home that injured one person early Monday morning.
Around 3:15 a.m., officers with the Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Forsyth Drive.
An unknown suspect had fired multiple gunshots into the occupied home and fled the area, officials said.
One victim was found with a gunshot wound and transported to UNC Hospitals. The name and condition of the victim have not yet been released.
