Police identify Durham homicide victim

Durham, N.C. — Police said Monday that they have identified a Durham man who died early Friday after being shot in his home late Thursday.
Officers responding to calls about a shooting found Clyde Otis Alston, 67, inside his home at 1307 Hearthside St. He had been shot in the chest, and he died at Duke University Hospital.
Police haven't released any details of a motive for the shooting or possible suspects, and no arrests have been made.
