Police: Girl, 18, attacked by man with machete in Apex
Police in Apex say an 18-year-old girl was attacked by a man with a machete as she walked from a school bus stop.

APEX, N.C. — Priyanka Kumari, 18, who was attacked by a man with a machete as she walked from a school bus stop, has been released from the hospital.
Her father said she is recovering from her wounds, but has more doctor visits ahead.
Police charged 20-year-old Neel Salil Mehta, in the case. He is being held on $2 million bond.
