Raleigh, N.C. — A Franklin County man accused of posing online as a woman to get teenage boys to send him nude photos pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Mitchell Franklin Louws, 18, was arrested in April after, authorities say, he used Facebook to entice his victims to send him photos under the guise of a woman promising to have sex with them if they would "pass a test" by having sex with a man.
Court documents also indicate that, if the boys refused to send more images, he threatened to send the photos to family members and post them online.
Under the terms of his plea, Louws was sentenced to an active six-month jail term but was given credit for eight months served.
He was expected to be released Monday and will be on five years of probation.
