— A Franklin County man accused of posing online as a woman to get teenage boys to send him nude photos pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Mitchell Franklin Louws, 18, was arrested in April after, authorities say, he used Facebook to entice his victims to send him photos under the guise of a woman promising to have sex with them if they would "pass a test" by having sex with a man.

Court documents also indicate that, if the boys refused to send more images, he threatened to send the photos to family members and post them online.

Under the terms of his plea, Louws was sentenced to an active six-month jail term but was given credit for eight months served.

He was expected to be released Monday and will be on five years of probation.

You do not even know the facts and you think I am guilty. It would be one thing if you knew all the facts before passing judgement. This is exactly what is wrong with our justice system. I do not know the person in this article, however, it disturbs me greatly on how people would do such a thing. Where have all of our morals gone. I am going to tell you that I am not guilty and have proof to back it up. Read it.

    Spoken like the guilty. Hogwash.

I am not a child molester nor do I approve of such behavior. If people were like me, there would no need for a Sex Offender registry. Just because I was convicted, does not mean I did it. It just means that the jury thought I was guilty. My lawyers hid evidence. If you go to my site, and read the Confession and Victim Impact tabs at falseconvictions.com you will see evidence that I am really innocent. I do not appove of pedophilia. As long as we only hold one person accountable and not punish the other people involved, it will keep happening. I for one would like to see people that abuse children stop. Children deserve better than this. Everytime I see a story like this, my heart hurts for the children.

Where are the parents when all this picture taking is going on? and wat is the age for being on facebook? The 18 yo was dead wrong.. however..." teenage boys" have a brain to say " this is stupid and click off of it....

I have to agree with silverballwiz. Any teen who takes a sexually explicit picture or video of himself or herself could be charged with creating child pornography in NC. Anyone who sends, forwards, or even receives that picture could be arrested for disseminating child pornography. Both are felonies in North Carolina. The boys that sent the original photos should be charged with creating child pornography. Yes, it is harsh. But in order to stop sexting, there needs to be accountability of how it is created and disseminated.

Is that what you think? I am not making excuses for his bad behavior. What happened is just wrong. Don't misunderstand me. All I am saying is do you think it is right for them to send the photos. I think both should be punished. Pervert included.
