Police checking on a reported break-in found a body in a Fayetteville apartment Tuesday morning.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police checking on a reported break-in found a body in a Fayetteville apartment Tuesday morning.
Officers were canvassing the area around the Meadowbrook Apartments, on Water Trail Drive, after receiving a report of a break-in at about 11 a.m., police said. They found the door to one apartment ajar and found a body inside.
The name of the person hasn't been released, but police were investigating the case as a homicide.
