Police: Downtown Durham YMCA evacuated due to bomb threat

— The downtown Durham YMCA was evacuated just before noon on Tuesday due to a bomb threat, but nothing was found, police said.

Durham police and the Durham County Sheriff's Office searched the building, but cleared the scene before 1 p.m.

The threat was called into the YMCA.
