Police cancel Silver Alert for 18-year-old woman missing from Raleigh

UPDATE 11 a.m.: The Raleigh Police Department canceled the Silver Alert for a missing 18-year-old girl.

The Silver Alert for Kayla Nicole Wilmot was canceled at 11 a.m.


Raleigh police are searching for an 18-year-old woman who went missing from the east side of the city.

Kayla Nicole Wilmot was last seen in the area of Saybrooke Drive and River Edge Drive in east Raleigh, according to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.

Wilmot is a black woman who is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 95 pounds, according to police. She has black, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Police said Wilmot was last seen wearing a blue jacket, jeans and a yellow-and-white striped shirt.
