— Three people were arrested outside the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant on Wake Forest Road Thursday night after a fight that involved several people started inside spilled into the parking lot.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, a group of up to 100 people formed outside the restaurant to watch the fight.

Investigators say two men started fighting inside the restaurant. That fight spilled outside, where more people got involved.

Following the incident, a 29-year-old male arrived at Wake Med Hospital with a puncture wound to his back. His name was not released, but investigators believe his injury is connected to the fight.

Raleigh police have charged one person in the incident, but did not release any other information, citing the ongoing investigation.

unfortunately you are wrong. just because a dj is playing doesn't make it a club any more than having karaoke or a live band.

This place is a dump and this type of crowd has been going there for years. Should have seen the place during the NBA Finals several years ago. *smh*

I've been there twice, my first and last time! I left before being seating, mainly because I'm fairly certain I was the only one there who wasn't a convicted felon......and it was all races there, but it was one of the shadiest places I've ever been to eat.

Geez! The best knife fights usually happen at Denny's. Which is convenient being that it's right across the street from the hospital. Maybe Denny's was closed yesterday for Customer Appreciation Day.

People love the circus! But when I see trouble brewing, I head the other direction. I don't want to be the innocent victim hit when someone decides to bust a cap.

Can I just say, just about every comment up here has made me LOL and now I have people walking past my office giving me the "side eye"! Anywho, why all the comments about "I was gonna go - not anymore!" or "I went in, and saw it was too crowded and turned around" SO what didnt know it was crowded when you rode around the parking lot looking for a spot? You didnt know it was crowded when you attempted to look through the windows - but probably couldn't see - because PEOPLE were standing around? And most important - why is everyone so up in arms about the fact that people started fighting - at a bar? I mean if it's a weekday or a restaurant. Where there is alcohol and humans, you risk an altercation breaking out. We all know NO race knows how to act when drunk. It's a fact of life. It's funny - most times. The few times I went to FRIDAYS I was only hit on by MUCH older men or guys my age who thought they were "gangster" and "hardcore" yet were currently enrolled in college courses.
