Police; 2 killings in 6 hours in Greensboro not related

— Police say two fatal shootings less than six hours apart in Greensboro are not related.

The first shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday near downtown.

Police said in a news release that 34-year-old Dexter Brown was shot and killed after an argument.

Authorities say 31-year-old Willie Davis turned himself in after police obtained an arrest warrant for murder. It wasn't known if Davis had a lawyer.

Police say a second man was killed about 9 miles (14 kilometers) away around 7:20 a.m. Saturday. No suspect has been arrested in the killing of 25-year-old Richard Shearing Jr.
