Police: 2 dead after Fayetteville shooting

Two men died early Sunday after a shooting at a Fayetteville apartment complex.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two men died early Sunday after a shooting at a Fayetteville apartment complex.

Around 5 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the Southwood Apartment Complex near the 1200 block of Southwood Drive.

They found Derrick McClain, 29, and Derrick Robinson, 27, dead of gunshot wounds in front of the apartment.

Investigators learned that two other men, Darrell Hinton, 27, and Kenneth Shaw, 28, had been shot in the incident and were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
