A 15 yo does not belong out at 1:30 AM. This is likely to be a gang related shooting as most are in Durham. Though Durham is not the most dangerous city nationwide, that title probably goes to Chicago (home of some of the most restrictive gun "control" laws) in the country. Chicago is a fine example of one thing and that is the total failure of laws to stop crime, especially gun crime. Most politicians have failed to realize that surprisingly enough, criminals don't obey laws and more laws that will be ignored by the people causing problems will be about as effective as the current batch of ignored laws.

Roger, I'll agree with you to a point, if Durham only had one shooting a month that would still be too many. Before you give Durham such a bad name though, you may want to read this : https://www.roadsnacks.net/most-dangerous-cities-in-north-carolina/
