Playground Review: Honeycutt Park
The 30-acre Honeycutt Park off Honeycutt Road has long been a favorite spot for some north Raleigh families.
Posted — UpdatedIt's home to an outdoor basketball court, baseball field and sand volleyball court, but its real draw might just be the playground. This isn't a major collection of play equipment. And, in the heat and sun of the summer, it's not the most shaded place to play.
But it does provide some wide open spaces for kids to run around and climb. And the large play piece, which looks to me a little bit like a tree, offers some fun alternatives, including a three-chute slide.
