Midtown Farmers Market: June 2014
One more post to remind you about our fun event at North Hills' Midtown Farmers' Market on Saturday!

We'll be there from 8 a.m. to noon with all sorts of activities for moms and the rest of the family. Here's a line-up:

8 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Free Body Back workout class for moms. Read this earlier post for more about the program and how to take advantage of Saturday's free class.
8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.: Free child IDs from New York Life Insurance Co.
9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.: North Raleigh School of Music offers free demo class.
9:30 to 10 a.m.: Kristin Schmalzbauer, a local first grade teacher, author and storyteller, will read a story with puppets.
9:30 to noon: Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio (formerly Lil' Chef) will have cookie decorating and a raffle.

10 a.m. to noon: Westwood Back Porch string band plays

10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: The Chick-fil-A cow visits
11 a.m. to noon: Rapunzel from Fairytale Dreamer visits

Mess Makers will be with us to share a farm-related craft. And we will also have crafts for the kids, plus a contest for tickets to see the PG-rated movie "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," which is in theaters next month. Oscar Williams Cotton Candy Co. also plans to be there unless it's rainy, which messes up their cotton candy-making abilities.

Right now, the forecast is calling for a cool day with a high around 77 and the chance of a little rain.
