Posted — UpdatedIt's been over a year since we first reported that Wegmans was in lease negotiations for a site in Cary.
Plans have finally been submitted to Cary officials seeking approval for a new 92-acre development, including Wegmans, near Cary Towne Center.
The mixed-use project would include shops, apartments, hotels and offices. According to a story on wral.com (see link to the left), the 92 acre development would be similar to North Hills in Raleigh. It could be 10 months before a decision is made so you may not want to start planning your shopping trip just yet.
From what I hear, shopping at Wegmans is quite the experience. Someone actually described it to me as the amusement park of grocery stores!
They consistently rank in the top 5 for customer satisfaction so clearly they are doing something right.
If you have shopped there before, what do you love about Wegmans?
