Pizza Hut employee injured during robbery in Raleigh

An employee at a Pizza Hut on Capital Boulevard suffered non-life-threatening injuries during a robbery early Sunday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An employee at a Pizza Hut on Capital Boulevard, in Raleigh, suffered non-life-threatening injuries during a robbery early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

According to investigators, an unidentified man with a gun entered the restaurant, at 4011 Capital Boulevard, at about 1 a.m. and hit the employee in the head with the gun. The employee was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 to 35 years old. He is about 6 feet tall, average build and was wearing jeans, a green and white shirt, and sneakers with neon-colored trim.

No arrests have been made.
