FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating the armed robbery Tuesday of a pizza delivery man.

The victim was delivering food to a home on the 5300 block of Patton Street in Eureka Springs, outside of Fayetteville, when he noticed four men walking up the street, authorities said Thursday.

As he was returning to his car after the delivery, the men, one of whom was armed with a pistol, pushed him against the car and took his social security card, driver's license, cash, iPod, GPS system and four credit and debit cards.

The robbers fled on foot, and were captured on surveillance videos at several area businesses trying to withdraw money from the victim's bank account and use his credit cards.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the sheriff's office at 910-323-1500.
