Pizza delivery driver robbed in northeast Raleigh

Tiffany Polin, 26, said two men approached her at an apartment complex on Bonneville Court, near Buffaloe Road, at about 7 p.m.

Polin said when no one answered the door at the address where the pizzas were supposed to be delivered, two men, one armed with a gun, walked toward her, threatened to shoot her, then took her car and belongings.

"He told me to give him the keys and turn around," she said. "I was like 'Since you have everything, can I just walk away?' He was just like 'Don't move.' I was like 'No, I'm walking away. You have everything else, that's not fair. I'm leaving.'"

Polin said she feels lucky to have survived.

"I have a two-year-old child...he could have been without a mother," she said.

The men left without harming her but drove away in her 2006 Chrysler Pacifica with North Carolina license plate CHP-8443.

Polin also works at a medical call center, but said she would like to continue her job with Pizza Hut when her car is found.

She described one of the suspects as a Hispanic male in his early 20s with short, black hair, wearing a t-shirt with a black and white bandana pattern and black shorts.
