Pixar gave short-film fans a little surprise Friday, debuting a short film for the loveable pooch from its upcoming film “Coco.”
In the video, the dog, named Dante, goes on a bit of an adventure in search of lunch.
Dante will appear in the upcoming “Coco” film, which launches in November. That film tells the story of Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), a young boy who wants to become like his idol, a famous musician named Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). A mysterious set of events puts Miguel into the Land of the Dead, though, setting him off on a major paranormal adventure.
“Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events,” the description for the film’s original trailer read. “Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector... and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.”
The film debuts Nov. 22.
