the man was actually hit by one car, then ran over by another... the first car ended up hiting a pole in the process of dodging the man...i know the second car's driver they are a friend of mine and she is very upset about the whole situation, like emtp2k said have a little respect for the people, i know my friend feels very guilty of what happened even tho it was nothing done on purpose!

Why bother reporting it? If you are not going to give details, and actually write an atricle, as opposed to throwing a few sentence fragments together then don't bother reporting on the story. These cryptic reports do nothing more than fill space left empty when this channel fails to cover news worthy stories. Thats the point I am trying to make.

emtp2k -at- yahoo -dot- com - Yeah I agree with you on this one, While it is tragic that someone was killed, there are probably TWO families that are grieving right now. There should be some privacy for both families, and as you said, who want's to be known as the guy/girl that ran over someone. Some things are better left unknown.

usually when the highway patrol says charges will or will nto be filed they know who. If you were driving and didn't see someone walking along the road at night and struck and killed them would you want your vehicle description and your name posted in the news? It's tragic enough for the person that hit the pedestrian as well as both families of those involved. It's better they don't post all of the names.

This channel posts the most usless stories when it comes to Chatham county. There are never any details. Perhaps we'd like to know where on 87 he was killed, or maybe who or what kind of car hit him, etc.
