Pilot unharmed after small plane flips at Sanford airport

The Lee County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post Sunday that there was an accident with an aircraft at a Sanford airport.

Deputies arrived at the Raleigh Executive Jetport, where the sole operator of the plane was taken out of the aircraft unharmed.

In the Facebook post, the sheriff's office said the N.C. Highway Patrol will be investigating the incident.
