Pictsweet and Kroger Simple Truth vegetable recalls

Both Pictsweet and Kroger Simple Truth frozen vegetables have been recalled due to the possibility of Listeria contamination.

They have recalled 15 different products including vegetables sent to North Carolina so check your freezer.

Last week, CRF Foods recalled approximately 358 frozen vegetable and fruit products sold under 42 separate brands including Trader Joe's, Great Value, McCain, Wild Oats, Season's Choice, Kirkland's and more.

Pictsweet Recall

Pictsweet has recalled a 14 different vegetable products due to possible Listeria contamination including green beans and green peas. CRF is the supplier for these vegetables. There is a long list of 10 oz - 28 oz. Pictsweet vegetables included in this recall. Head to fda.gov to see the specific products involved. They include various Steamables, Mixed Vegetables, Cut Green Beans, Green Peas, Summer Blend, Summer Vegetables and more.

Customers can return the product to the store for a refund. Contact their consumer affairs number at 1-800-527-0986 from 8am – 5pm CDT with questions.

Kroger Simple Truth Recall

Kroger has recalled Simple Truth Organic Mixed Vegetables because of possible Listeria contamination. The specific product included in the recall is:

Sell By Date: December 2016 and Jan 2017

Size: 10 oz.

Contact Kroger at 1-800-KROGERS, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 am EDT and Saturday through Sunday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm EST with questions and return the product to the store for a refund.

    The Princess ate about half a bag of the Pictsweet green beans, raw, that we got BOGO at HT last week. Obviously, we ditched them all and will bring in the receipt to HT for a refund.

    These recalls are really distressing. We've been keeping an eye on her, and she seems ok, but would you call the vet if it was your kid?
