1 killed in Dunn head-on collision
A man died Friday when two pickup trucks collided just before noon in Dunn. Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Hobson and Jernigan roads.
Posted — UpdatedDUNN, N.C. — A man died Friday when two pickup trucks collided just before noon in Dunn. Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Hobson and Jernigan roads.
Both trucks had serious front-end damage, and a blue truck flipped onto its side from the force of the impact.
According to the state Highway Patrol, the driver of an S-10 Chevy pickup was killed. The other driver had minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The S-10 crossed the media, causing the crash, troopers said.
Authorities have yet to identify the people involved.
