Posted October 31, 2014

— A man died Friday when two pickup trucks collided just before noon in Dunn. Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Hobson and Jernigan roads.

Both trucks had serious front-end damage, and a blue truck flipped onto its side from the force of the impact.

According to the state Highway Patrol, the driver of an S-10 Chevy pickup was killed. The other driver had minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

The S-10 crossed the media, causing the crash, troopers said.

Authorities have yet to identify the people involved.

right in front of my hairdresser's. One of her employees happened to walk outside and see it happen. Keeping my thoughts with the victims, their families, and the witnesses.

That looks like a real bad one. Hope any injuries sustained in this crash are not real bad. Pain and hospitals are never fun.
