Pickup crashes into Fayetteville's Market House

— A pickup slammed into the Market House in downtown Fayetteville on Monday morning.

There was no word on the condition of the driver.

The Market House, at 108 Person St., is a National Historic Landmark that served as both a town market and the town hall for Fayetteville until the early 20th century.

    I don't see anything wrong with the Market House standing in the center of the traffic circle in Fayetteville.
    That is, unless you are one of those drivers that can only drive from point A to point B but it has to be in a straight line.

    I'm happy to see that WRAL got the history of the building correct. Usually anything dealing with the Market House suggests that it was once a slave market. It wasn't.
